I took this picture in April at the Gardens: how annoyed many of us were at the late snow. How I would love just one evening of snow in July!
I like the way this shot turned out, but just outside of the frame is a tall apartment building. Whether we see an urban or natural environment is sometimes how we frame things.

Todd and Ian:
I can’t tell you how many times I have stopped to look at the two panels. Everytime I see something different. It was really cool to see the poppies in bloom in June and to see how you had painted them into your murals as well. That is pretty cool when artists can interpret the nature that is already there into their work.
You guys rock!
Great picture Colem!

Visitors comment all the time about how your painting works so well with the garden. It’s really a lovely relationship.
