Mission is a freelance artist based in Arvada, Colo. While working in a variety of media including watercolor, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, acrylic paint, felt tip pens and aerosol paint, he always finds himself drawn to the freedom and expressiveness of free-hand aerosol graffiti – working on a vast canvas and taking in his surroundings and the people around him for inspiration. Mission has been commissioned to create many graffiti works, all on legal walls and buildings, capturing the energy of art splashed over the man-made jungle.

With no formal art training, Mission relies on instincts and unexpected inspiration to guide him.  When not painting, Mission is an integral part of a family team of metal sculpture artists. Read the rest of this entry »
